等了好久的Amarok2终于发布了。
Ubuntu用户可以参考Kubuntu网站上的Installation Instructions：
1. Follow the Kubuntu Repository Guide to enable Recommended Updates (backports) and add the following to your 'Third-Party Software' tab:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu intrepid main
2. You can now update an existing Amarok 2 installation to the most recent version using the Adept Updater tool in your system tray.
If you do not have an existing Amarok 2 install, please follow the Adept How to and install the package called "amarok-kde4".

这几天太忙，好久没有更新了。今天上来推荐一个软件：几天前，永中推出了它的Office2009版本，永中的Office一直都支持Linux平台，这次的亮点是永中有了免费的版本：集成Office个人版。
永中Office的排版和WORD比较相近，这下交老师的实验报告就不用跑虚拟机下开Windows了。永中Office还支持M$ Office 2007格式，也支持UOF格式（虽然现在我还用不到）。永中Office的导出PDF功能还包含了自动书签功能，这一点比OOo好。不过OOo3.0发布了，我还没去下载，不知道使用效果如何。
顺便提示一个小技巧，因为永中Office用的永中宋体是直接放到了/usr/share/fonts/zh_CN/TrueType下，这个字体会直接影响系统中的字体，比如我的Qterm，为了恢复系统字体的原状，我尝试修改字体配置文件未果，最后发现永中Office字体除了上面的路径，还需要查找自带的JRE的路径，因此将字体文件移动到/opt/Evermore/EIOffice/Jre/lib/fonts/下即可，这样永中Office可以用宋体字体，系统字体也不会受到影响(话说宋体在Linux下显示的效果灰常难看……)。

这几天折腾Gentoo，始终没好好用过系统，软件更新有点滞后了(其实Gentoo因其Portage系统恰恰是跟着软件更新步伐最近的操作系统)，回到Ubuntu后又恢复原来的生活，可以好好更新软件了。
1. Pidgin 2.5.1
这个版本主要是一个BUG修复版本，没有从2.4.3到2.5.0那么大变化。不过它的很多图标换过了，感觉还挺不错。根据它的Release Notes说，参加GOC的一些学生为Pidgin贡献代码，只是都没有完成，所以没有merge到这个版本中。这个版本修复了一些导致crash的BUG，这点是我很看重的，以前老是crash，这几天试试会不会好点。
2. LibFetion 0.8.1
这个版本同样是一些细节修改，比起0.2.x到0.8.0的大动作自然也没有太多。这个软件一直是我很推荐的，比Pidgin的飞信插件稳定多了(当然pidgin插件不稳定更多还是因为pidgin自身的问题)。P.S.最近LibFetion.cn的网站很卡啊。
3. QQ For Linux Preview 1.0-2
听说有些新的变化，关于支持龙芯那个早就在意料之中了，其他新变化没有什么激动人心的。至少我们可以肯定一毛前公司是在继续开发QQ for Linux的。
4. VirtualBox 1.6.6
这个版本也是个BUG修订版，正准备下来尝试一下呢。

最后推荐一个很好用的软件，workrave，在LinuxToy上介绍过两次，这里就不详细介绍了。它能定时提醒你工作一段时间后休息，还能教你如何通过简单的做操放松，是个不可多得的好软件。

1.Pidgin 2.5.0发布
从狗狗那里看到cnbeta上说sourceforge.net已经放出了pidgin-2.5.0，而官网上还没发布呢。
这不禁让我开始思考，我要不要把cb的rss重新放回我的订阅列表呢？
安装完毕需要运行一下ldconfig，要不然symbolic link有问题，囧。
安装完最显眼的就是那只鸽子的鼻子更红了- -b，刚开始差点被吓到……
原来MSN的群里输入/showname就可以显示群里发言人的名字了呀，幸亏狗狗提醒我，要不然我又要打补丁了，真是够zt，嗯……

腾讯还算守信用，说在七月末发布Linux版的QQ，果然在最后一天发布了。按照以往惯例，腾讯在中午的时候开始提供下载。
下载页面在这里：http://im.qq.com/qq/linux/download.shtml，有deb包、rpm包和tar.gz包三种可以下载。我下载了deb包，在Ubuntu 8.04上运行一切正常。
界面是QQ 2009 Preview的界面，和Windows下的QQ 2009基本一致。从系统配置需求上来看，它是用GTK+开发的。
使用了一会儿，感觉毕竟是原生支持，操作体验和效果上确实比eva要好很多。但是功能上目前确实太少，声音提示、快捷键提取消息等必需的功能都没有。
毕竟是Preview版，我们还能期待它能够添加功能，更加完善。还是要感叹一下国家的力量真是伟大～～
现在QQ for Linux官方版本出了，不知道云帆那边有什么动静，等会儿去看看。

最近忙着考试复习，第三次错过了第一时间发布（至少是同步发布）消息的时机，sigh~

不用说，我肯定又火星了。本来是昨天就发布的，由于时差或者其他什么原因，没有看到下载。而且我用的是Ubuntu，对我来说Fedora9发布也没太大的关系。
不过想想，Redhat桌面版也才到9(:D)，Fedora这么快也就9了，发展真迅猛～

Google Reader是最流行的订阅器之一，很早的时候LinuxToy就介绍了GrNotify这款软件(http://linuxtoy.org/archives/grnotify.html)，使用了之后觉得很不错，但是当时相当不稳定，功能很少。和CheckGmail比起来，同是为Google产品定制的软件，功能上，使用感受上都差了不少。但是GrNotify一直在改进，不断Fix Bugs，到后期，隔几天就发布一个新版本，今天早上，在SourceForge上，它更是直接从0.4.5版本直接跳到了1.0RC1，如此大手笔的发布，让我们看看它有了一些什么改进。
